DESCRIPTION:Merry & Bright - Lighting the Tree in the Village of Bartlett\n\n \n\nThis year's Merry & Bright Tree Lighting starts with a STROLL!\n\nSaturday\, December 6\, 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.\n\nBartlett Park\, Oak Avenue & North Avenue\n\n \n\n4:30 p.m. - Everyone is invited to assemble in the METRA lot on Oneida & Eastern for a "Stroll to the North Pole\," which will step off at 4:45 p.m.\n\n5 p.m. - Santa and "strollers" will arrive at Bartlett Park\, where Santa will go up in the bucket truck to light the tree first thing. \n\n5 to 6 p.m. - Enjoy carols and music from the South Elgin High School choir and a DJ.\n\n5 to 7 p.m. - Meet and greet Wicked's Glinda & Elphaba\, as well as Jack Skellington & Sally from the Nightmare Before Christmas.\n\n5:20 to 7:20 p.m. - Take a ride in the horse-drawn wagon or stop by one of the food trucks for a bite to eat.\n\n5:30 to 7:30 p.m. - After Santa lights the tree\, he will head to the Log Cabin to see children and hear their special wishes. Bring your camera to take photos of your little ones.
